Why read various different sacred books instead of sticking to one?

facebook inspired by almighty

There are various volumes and texts available regarding Sai’s leelas (or any faith you believe in) and also sacred teachings are well published throughout the world in various languages and religions. Then what is the need of another book like Hemadpant‘s Sai Satcharitra or this book in your hand??? (for print media).Answer is simple that Sai Baba’s (or any faith you believe in) miracles and teachings are as vast as ocean and thus anyone can like me or you can dive into it to extract knowledge and write some interesting life transforming material which will benefit the masses. “This edition is a little different here because, here the teachings by baba are fused with the teachings of ancient secrets which when understood, applied to life and daily habits will lead you to a path of success and happiness at every stage. This is not just a spiritual book, if you read it thoroughly then important lessons can be learnt in an easy and efficient way (instead of learning them kick-on-the-butt way) to lead a life which will be balanced in materialistic and spiritual matters altogether……and ofcourse will pour, in life, the essence of Peace!

Gratitude is of utmost importance and submission of ego to the highest power is wanting to attain peace, read on to learn more…

When a Guru is approached to request for writing his biography, this is what is said in praise, as said by my Guru (Shri Sai Baba)…

“Let him make a collection of stories and experiences, keep notes and memos; I will help him. He is only an outward instrument. I should myself write my autobiography and satisfy the wishes of my devotees. He should get rid of his ego and surrender it at my feet. He who acts like this in life, him I help the most. What of my life stories? I serve him in his house in all possible ways. When his ego is completely annihilated and there is left no trace of it, I myself shall enter into him and shall myself write my own life. Hearing my stories and teachings will create faith in devotees hearts and they will easily get self realization and bliss; let there be no insistence on establishing one’s own view, no attempt to refute other’s opinions, no discussions of pros and cons of any subject.”

Such a beautiful approval, such a lesson of letting go ego, seems to be nectar of our favorite fruit.
‘He should get……………..help the most.”
In this phrase, Baba explains that one must not consider himself as the doer, but upon surrendering his ego at guru’s feet (literal meaning, letting go thousand thoughts that wander in our mind; simultaneously feeling selflessness) and concentrating on what you want (not how it will happen), then guru (the supreme) will conspire the worldly forces to let your dream come true by himself serving it to you (be it a task, job, love, money anything).

Believe me, it will be surprising for you to know that exactly same thing is being taught in ‘The Secret’ by Respectful Rhonda Byrne. Any life coach or a ‘law of attraction’ believer might tell you, that, you simply with full faith need to tell the universe by emitting positive frequency of belief of what you want, then holding on to the firm faith that it will be given to you. Your job should be limited to this much only, how it will happen, when it will come to you, is to be left unto the merciful lord ( or guru/supreme power; which ever name you wish to give to it). And soon you will realize that you receive it, upon receiving, you have to be Grateful towards it.

Rule #1: If you don’t intend to give to the needy…

We all hear all around that we must do charity, we must donate as it gives us immense pleasure and helps mankind. Also we know that it is most pleasing to the lord to feed the needy. My guru, Sri Sai Samarth, always said that this is the most important form of sadhna in this yug. As we are always engaged in worldly activities and thus get less time for yagya and other forms of sadhna to please mighty lord, feeding the poor comes in handy at all times.

You are at a eatery and you see a poor kid watching from outside, go ahead, get him a burger or fries, it won’t cost you a fortune. Believe me. Most eco meals are for 100 bucks. But you cannot measure the amount of happiness you will offer to the kid. Also great points will be added to your karma book which will ofcourse help you in future somehow, you’ll realise that in your ‘not so good’ times.

Try it, you will thank me!

The best form of charity is to feed the poor!

Also, agreed upon, at times we get annoyed by beggars and other people. But, we must remember the rule #1 of not giving, do not shout at them, get angrily mad or abuse them. Simply, ignore and take lord’s name to ask for forgiveness (if you feel guilty). This will keep you at peace and will not disgust the other one too. In order to shout out your ego, you might end up adding up points to your bad karma.

Most importantly, I would say that offrring money to the beggers is not at all advisable as if they get free money then they will not intend to do any work ever in life. Better is to get them a food item.

I hope you like the idea and subconsciously will remember it the next time you will tend to ignore a poor guy…

Please drop in comments and share this knowledge with loved ones.

Importance Of Guru In Life!

Follow us at ‘My Experiments with Spirituality’ and facebook link.

Guru, a teacher, is one of the most important aspects of our lives as in our primitive years they are the only ones who shape up our habits, nature and other worldly things. This tag can be given to anyone who has inspired or effected our life in any way. Our parents are our first and foremost teachers and we often learn a huge deal of things from them. Thus, how our kids will perform in life or what habits they develop, depend on ourselves and the way we treat our children.

Later in life when we grow up and look for peace, we realize that it is of utmost importance to have a guide who can show us the right path to success, or atleast peace. Parents, teachers, professors all are human beings who live in the state of engagement with the worldly things, thus their scope in helping us to find peace is limited as they, themselves might be looking for the same until now. but, if we are the privilaged one, and have the opportunity to get attracted to feet of a Sad Guru, then all our problems can come to an end and we achieve immense amount of spiritual pleasure as it leads us to our final goal, peace in life.

Many a times, we often think what is the need of surrendering to a human being? What is the reason of going under a guru’s shelter?

As my guru is Sai Baba and from his teachings, in the original text, a very interesting discussion has been described about this topic, so a modified extract has been written about it here…

One, Kakasaheb Dixit published his version about this topic. He went to baba to take permission to leave Shirdi.

Baba said.”Yes”.

Then someone asked,”Baba, where to go?”.

Baba: “High up”

Man: “How is the way?”

Baba: “There are many ways leading there; there is one way also from here (Shirdi). The way is difficult. There are tigers and wolves in the jungle on the way”

Kakasaheb: “But baba, what if we take a guide with us?”

Baba: “Then there is no difficulty. The guide will take you straight to your destination, avoiding wolves, tigers and ditches on the way. If there is no guide, there is a danger of your being lost in the jungles or falling into the ditches.”

Life can be compared to such a jungle and if we take some experienced person along with us in this jungle then we will never lose our way and purpose. Also we will always remember the ways of conduct and proper use of resources (our senses) to reach the ultimate destination, that is Satisfaction in life, spiritual self realization and ultimately, Peace!

Yes, it is the only one thing you would want when you realize that all the materialistic things in the world are of no use, even if you are a billionaire and own a fleet of luxury cars, you sleep on bed of gold, still, if your mind and soul look for peace, all the wealth of this world gets wasted.

Guru is the only jewel who can bring peace to your mind, but then there is a price to pay for that. Price is dis-association from the worldly pleasures. When you start to feel that materialistic things are just to assist you in life and not to master you. Like if you own a Mercedes or a Maruti 800 and that doesnt make a difference to you, as both solve the purpose of transporting you from one place to another. Or if you own a Mercedes but you do not have any kind of attachment with it, the feeling of ‘you own it because you can afford it, not because you need it’, then you can attain peace. The prime reason we are not at peace is because if we own a Mercedes then we want to keep upgrading to a better and more luxurious model as it appeals to us and this will lead to agony and frustration many a times.

So setting up goals in life are most important, if you go on without a goal then it will be hard to achieve peace. Even if you are half way to your goal at end of your life, then also you must think that you achieved some milestone as most of people do not even have the courage to pursue their goals. B+ always and happy with what you have.
